At MADE IN THE STREETS, similar to the United States, our students must transition into independence and self-sufficiency after graduating. To support this critical phase of their lives, we have developed the Aftercare Program.

Our dedicated Aftercare staff provides financial, spiritual, and emotional support to each student, helping them navigate the challenges of life after MITS. We meticulously document each student's journey, allowing them to reflect on their experiences and personal growth.

In preparation for graduating, we assist students in creating professional resumes and coach them on interview skills. Then, we assist in securing attachments (also referred to as internships in the US) in their chosen fields. These attachments often lead to permanent employment for those who demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic.

Our Aftercare staff regularly visits recent graduates to offer encouragement, counseling, and spiritual support, often accompanying them to new churches and celebrating their achievements. MITS also assists with monthly rent until they secure stable employment.

Above all, we emphasize a life of faith in God. We train and equip our students to become Bible study leaders, ensuring they remain connected to a faith community after leaving Kamulu. Our vision is for every MITS graduate to be a spiritual leader in their community, making disciples and embodying the message of Christ: that He has made all things new!
