Reintegration

Overview

We are committed to helping street-connected youth not only leave the streets but find lasting belonging in safe, loving families.

We work hand in hand with local leaders and caregivers to reunite children with relatives or place them in family-based care.

Through careful preparation, family tracing, and ongoing support, we walk with each child as they reunite with relatives, ensuring they are welcomed and supported

Why family?

Only family can provide the deep, consistent care every child needs to thrive.

Family offers protection. When children are separated from their families, they are far more vulnerable to trauma, exploitation, and abuse. The safest place for a child is in a home with loving caregivers who are committed to their well-being.

Family offers love. A child’s emotional and mental development depends on being seen, valued, and loved. In a family, children receive the affection, stability, and nurture that build resilience and hope.

Family offers identity. Growing up in a home gives a child a deep sense of belonging and connection. It shapes their self-worth and sets the foundation for healthy relationships and purpose into adulthood.

This is why reintegration is central to our work. Every child deserves to be known, loved, and rooted in family.

Every child deserves a home.

We collaborate with local partners to create sustainable solutions that reconnect street-connected children with families.
