REHABILITATION

The Transition and Rehabilitation Center

The Transition and Rehabilitation Center is where street-connected children begin their journey toward healing. It provides a safe, structured environment where they can recover from life on the streets and prepare for life in a family.

Educational Support

Returning to school after time on the streets can be overwhelming. Many children have had gaps in their learning or never attended school at all.

At the Transition and Rehabilitation Center, we provide foundational education to help each child catch up and build confidence before entering a formal classroom environment.

This includes basic literacy and numeracy, as well as structured daily routines that mirror a school setting. Our teachers work closely with each child to assess their learning level and provide the support they need to succeed.

Beyond academics, children also learn social and practical skills that help them adjust to the expectations of a school community.

By the time a child is ready to transition into school, they are not only academically prepared but emotionally and socially ready to thrive.

Counseling & Emotional Support

Children at the center receive individualized counseling to help them work through trauma. Many arrive with experiences of neglect, violence, or exploitation. Our counselors provide support for emotional healing, address issues related to substance use, and teach practical tools for resolving conflict and building healthy relationships.

Spiritual Guidance

Faith is an important part of our work.

Therefore, individuals are invited into conversations about God, participate in Bible studies, and are mentored by caring adults who model integrity, hope, and compassion.

This process helps them begin to rebuild a sense of identity and purpose.
