OUR MISSION

The mission of MADE IN THE STREETS is to holistically serve and love street-connected children and reintegrate them back into a nurturing and safe environment.

For 30 years, we have existed to provide love, education, and job training to young people living on the streets.

Our vision: A world where street-connected children break free from the streets - to thrive in safe and loving families and empowered communities.

We dream of the day when the phrase "starving kids in Africa" becomes a relic of the past.

The reality is that thousands of boys and girls are living on the streets in Kenya. MADE IN THE STREETS exists to intervene and end the cycle of homeless youth living on the streets of Nairobi. We provide care and God's love to some of the most vulnerable kids in East Africa. â€‹â€‹â€‹

We will not grow weary. Because it's worth it.

Our Approach

Phase 1: Prevention

Our main goal is to prevent children from being separated from their families. We achieve this through family strengthening programs, including positive parenting, socio-economic support, and improved farming methods.

Phase 2:
Rescue

We identify children living on the streets and rescue them, bringing them to our Transition and Rehabilitation Center.

Phase 3: Rehabilitation

At the Transition and Rehabilitation center, children receive intentional counseling to address trauma, substance abuse, and conflict resolution, alongside spiritual guidance and discipleship.

Phase 4: Reintegration

We believe that children thrive best in family settings, so we focus on reintegrating them into safe family environments.
